CJ66 concept car has been presented at SEMA-2016

Jeep Company decided to see what happens when you combine CJ and two Wrangler models. The result of this experiment was unveiled at the 2016 SEMA tuning show. Thus, CJ66 concept car has borrowed CJ 1966 body and Wrangler TJ chassis. Wrangler JK model has shared bumpers, hood and headlights design. The cabin was provided by a safety cage, branded dashboard, special mats as well as racing hoppers. The wheel has got 50th Anniversary Moab Easter Jeep Safari logo. In addition, the crossover has a unique body paint.

Jeep Wrangler CJ66 SUV has also received a new intake and exhaust systems, but the main thing that distinguishes the concept from the standard crossover is Mopar Dana 44 bridges, which let to overcome barriers with greater confidence. The SUV wheels can be inflated by means of an automatic pneumatic pressure.

The concept SUV also has front and rear differential lock, roll bar and side sills. CJ66 design includes 35-inch all terrain tires. The technical equipment of the novelty is presented by a 5.7-liter Hemi engine with the ability to generate 383 horepower. The motor is aggregated with a 6-step mechanic transmission that transfers power to both axles.
