The Grand Cherokee luxury modification in New York

One more Auto Show taking place in New York hasn’t dispensed with Jeep Company participation. This time the famous brand has showed the modified Grand Cherokee. An updated version named as Summit has a luxury design. The new model will be launched into American car market this summer.

Summit modification is a luxury version. Jeep constructors have equipped the SUV by LED fog lamps and 20-inch alloy wheels. The different grille and lower front bumper are distinguishing elements of the previous model. Summit crossover has also received Quadra-Drive II full 4 × 4 drive with electronic self-locking differential, and Quadra-Lift air suspension. The interior is made of leather and suede finishing; it can have several color variants. To be specific, door panels and dashboard are covered by Nappa leather. Some wood inserts design the steering wheel and front panel. In addition, the SUV has a panoramic roof and interior LED lighting.

As for entertainment, carmakers propose 825-watt Harman Kardon sound system including three subwoofers and 19-inch speaker. Summit has also received an acoustic windshield and antinoise systems. The novelty will be supplied by 5.7-liter eight HEMI, developing 360 hp and 529 Nm of torque. The engine will be combined with 8-range automatic transmission.
