The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT will get some modifications

The American Jeep Company declassified the information about the updated Grand Cherokee SRT crossover of 2016 model year. Thus, according to the photo and video material, the exterior view of the renew Cherokee SRT SUV is a little bit different from its predecessor. The carmakers changed only multimedia and technical model’s stuff. In particular, Grand Cherokee SRT has a new dashboard with a seven-inch digital display and a tachometer located in the central console.

In addition, the restyled version of Jeep’s brand is supplied by the new drive modes and all-wheel drive configurations such as Sport, Track, Custom, Tow, Snow and Eco. The new Valet mode, which is an equipment used for the off-road cars of a new generation, is able to activate the Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) and let a driver to use the Launch Control system.

Under the hood of Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, the engineers installed a 6.4-liter petrol 8 AT engine generating 475 horsepower and 636 Nanometer of torque. This allows the SRT crossover to reach 100 kilometer an hour speed per 4.8 seconds. As for the top speed, the model can run up 257 kilometer an hour.
